Last Updated: 2026-09-01
Article 1 (Definitions)
In these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below.
- "Service" means the service provided by the Service provider for the uploading and sharing of GPX files.
- "User" means any person who uses the Service.
- "Service provider" means the person who operates and provides the Service.
- "Uploaded Data" means the GPX file and its contents uploaded by a User through the Service.
- "Published Data" means data that is made available through the Service after being converted, normalized, or otherwise processed from Uploaded Data to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
Article 2 (Application)
These Terms apply to the entire relationship between the Service provider and a User in connection with the use of the Service.
A User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms by uploading Uploaded Data or by otherwise using the Service.
Article 3 (Service Overview)
The Service is a beta service that allows Users to temporarily upload GPX files and share them through a generated share URL.
The Service does not require user registration and does not associate Uploaded Data with individual Users.
The Service is provided as a beta version. Features may be changed, modified, or discontinued without notice. Errors, interruptions, or unexpected behavior may occur.
Users shall not use the Service as the sole storage location for important data.
Article 4 (Uploaded Data and Published Data)
Published Data may be accessed by anyone who knows the corresponding share URL.
GPX files may contain location information such as coordinates and travel history. By uploading Uploaded Data to the Service, a User understands that location-related information contained in the Uploaded Data may be revealed to third parties through the Published Data.
Published Data is temporarily stored on the basis of 24 hours following the completion of the storage process, and is promptly and automatically deleted thereafter. However, the actual retention period may vary due to system processing timing or other circumstances.
Uploaded Data is handled temporarily to the extent necessary for processing by the Service, and is not permanently stored as Published Data.
The Service does not guarantee the permanent storage, availability, integrity, or recovery of Published Data.
Article 5 (User Responsibilities)
A User represents and warrants that the Uploaded Data the User uploads to the Service is lawfully provided by the User, and that the User holds the rights or authority necessary to use and publish it through the Service.
If a dispute, claim, or other issue arises with a third party in connection with Uploaded Data, the User shall resolve it at the User's own responsibility and expense.
Article 6 (Delete Token)
A delete token is issued when a User uploads Uploaded Data. The delete token is required to request the deletion of Published Data.
The delete token is confidential information and must be managed at the User's own responsibility.
If the delete token is lost, it cannot be recovered. In addition, the Service provider is not obligated to individually delete Published Data on the grounds that the User has lost the delete token. Published Data will be automatically deleted after the retention period set forth in Article 4.
The Service provider shall be liable for damage caused by the disclosure, loss, or improper management of the delete token only to the extent such damage is caused by the Service provider's ordinary negligence.
However, the preceding paragraph does not apply to damage caused by the Service provider's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)
A User must not engage in any of the following acts:
- Uploading Uploaded Data that violates applicable laws or public order and morals;
- Uploading Uploaded Data that infringes the copyright, moral rights of authors, trademark rights, privacy, or other rights or interests of a third party;
- Uploading Uploaded Data that contains confidential information, trade secrets, or other information that is prohibited from being disclosed to third parties;
- Uploading Uploaded Data for which the User does not hold the legitimate rights or authority necessary to use or publish it through the Service;
- Uploading Uploaded Data that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful programs or content;
- Engaging in attacks, disruption, or other wrongful acts against the Service;
- Using the Service for the purpose of obstructing the provision of the Service; or
- Using the Service in a manner that significantly deviates from its intended use, including large-scale or continuous use of the Service.
The Service provider is not obligated to monitor or review the content of Uploaded Data or Published Data.
To report content that infringes copyright, trademark rights, privacy, or other rights or interests, please contact us via the Contact page.
Article 8 (Measures by the Service Provider)
The Service provider may delete Published Data before the end of the retention period when the Service provider determines it is necessary for technical, operational, legal, or security reasons.
If the Service provider determines that Published Data, or the Uploaded Data on which it is based, violates these Terms or poses a legal, security, or operational risk, the Service provider may, without prior notice, delete the Published Data, disable access to it, or take other necessary measures.
The Service provider is not obligated to notify the User of the reason even where it has taken the measures set forth in the preceding two paragraphs.
Article 9 (License Regarding the Handling of Uploaded Data)
A User retains the rights the User holds in the Uploaded Data.
By uploading Uploaded Data, a User grants the Service provider a non-exclusive license to reproduce, store, transmit, display, convert, normalize, and otherwise technically process the Uploaded Data and the Published Data generated based on it, to the extent directly necessary to achieve the purposes listed in the following items:
- Generating Published Data and providing it through the Service;
- Maintaining the normal provision of the Service;
- Fixing defects in the processing of Uploaded Data or Published Data;
- Reprocessing existing Published Data in connection with a change to the normalization method or storage format; and
- Addressing security risks arising from Uploaded Data or Published Data.
The Service provider shall not use Uploaded Data or Published Data for any purpose other than those listed in the items of the preceding paragraph.
A User shall not exercise moral rights (including the right to maintain integrity) with respect to any conversion, normalization, or other processing performed by the Service provider within the scope of the purposes set forth in the preceding two paragraphs.
Article 10 (Security and Malware)
The Service provider takes reasonable measures to reduce security risks.
However, the User is responsible for ensuring that Uploaded Data does not contain malware or other harmful content.
The Service provider does not guarantee that Uploaded Data is completely free from security risks.
Article 11 (Availability, Warranty, and Disclaimer)
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
The Service provider makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, usefulness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the Service.
The Service provider is not obligated to fix any defect, failure, or other problem in the Service, or to improve the Service.
The Service provider shall not be liable for damage incurred by a User in connection with the use of the Service, but only to the extent such damage is caused by the Service provider's ordinary negligence.
The preceding paragraph does not apply to damage caused by the Service provider's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 12 (Indemnification)
A User shall indemnify the Service provider for reasonable damage incurred by the Service provider as a result of a claim or demand made by a third party against the Service provider arising from the User's provision of Uploaded Data or the User's violation of these Terms.
Article 13 (Changes to These Terms)
The Service provider may change these Terms as necessary.
When changing these Terms, the Service provider shall publish the content of the revised Terms and their effective date on the Service's website by the effective date.
The revised Terms shall apply from the effective date so determined.
Users shall check the latest version of these Terms when using the Service.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the Service provider's place of residence as the court of first instance (or the corresponding summary court if the claim falls within the jurisdiction of a summary court).
Article 15 (Governing Language)
The Japanese version of these Terms shall be the authoritative text. Any translation of these Terms into languages other than Japanese is provided for reference purposes only. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and a translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
